Combining exploration and influence in learning conversation

Influence your colleagues' planning

The learning conversation enables you to prompt your colleagues to include specific features in their planning without having to 'tell them what to do'

Influence can be broadly or narrowly focused

Your suggestions and questions can focus on broad themes, specific subject content or named pupils

Influence learning across the whole unit

Holding the conversation early in the unit enables you to influence its shape, direction and pace
